Upcoming Exhibitions and Shows in 2018

8 – 21 June 2018. “Fusion”

I have an exhibition located at the Brewery Arts Center by Green Door Studios along with other resident artists using mixed media. Green Door is a studio collective with over a hundred members.

10 June 2018. “Open Garden with Art Exhibition”

I have an open garden event at 8 Oxenholme Road, Kendal, in the National Garden Schemes (Yellow book guide), which includes a garden tour, as well as and open studio viewing of both ceramics and paintings.

28 July – 8 September 2018. “Edge”

This is a solo exhibition of my work at the Brewery Arts Centre. The preview is on Friday 27th July. This is a major show for me with a significant collection of my work. I am motivated and stimulated by the details and the atmosphere of landscape: by decay, and by change created by the environmental evolution.

3 – 5 August 2018. “Potfest in the Pens”

This is an exhibition at Penrith Cattle Market, where I will be sharing a stand with my husband John Davenport. This is a ceramics-only show. This includes a competition with the theme of “Strange fruit bowl”, which I will look forward to entering.

28 – 30 September 2018. “Green Door Studios Art Trail”

This is an open studios event. Many studios will also be open on this trail weekend. We are open each day from 10am – 4pm at 8 Oxenholme Road, Kendal. I will be exhibiting paintings, and John Davenport will be showing his ceramic creations.

17 – 18 November 2018. “Art and Clay”

This is a joint exhibition at the Athenaeum, Leasgill, Heversham, Cumbria. It involves around a dozen artists selling works in a variety of media: ceramics, printing, painting, jewelry and other work. Come and see, and also engage with the artists.

23 – 25 November 2018. “Christmas Craft Market”

This is your chance to buy Christmas gifts at the Brewery Arts Center in Kendal, open Friday Evening, Saturday, and Sunday: a great variety of fine quality work at very affordable prices.

Additional Works on Display

I also have paintings displayed at the Old Courthouse Gallery in Ambleside, at the New Moon restaurant in Kendal, at Farfield Mill in Sedbergh, at Country Harvest on the A65, and at the Up-Front Gallery at Unthank.
